Wearing a favourite colour instead of black

Not everyone feels at ease in all black. If your loved one enjoyed bright colours, pastels, or a signature shirt, the funeral may reflect that.

Mention it gently in the invitation, for example: wear a colour that reminds you of them.

Room for personal choice

Some guests will still prefer dark clothing. That is fine. This is an invitation, not a rule.

You can lead by example with a tie, scarf, or flower in their favourite colour.

Photos and remembrance

Colourful photos from the day often show warmth and connection. You may share them later on a private memorial page if that fits.
